Overview:
Southwest Builders completed a beautiful and functional sunroom addition for a two-story home in Lakeside, CA. With a sprawling backyard filled with gardens and chickens, the homeowners wanted a space that allowed them to enjoy the outdoors year-round—while staying protected from the elements.
Scope of Work:
The project began with the demolition and removal of an outdated wood patio cover. We then poured a brand-new raised concrete foundation to support the structure. From there, our team installed a C-Thru Alpha Plus Sunroom, a high-performance, California-made product known for durability and energy efficiency.
The sunroom features an insulated roof system with integrated rain gutters, tall custom glass windows along the front wall, and sliding glass doors that open the space to the backyard. Finished in an attractive almond color with brown trim, the sunroom blends beautifully with the home’s exterior.
Additional features include a full electrical package with multiple receptacles, recessed can lighting, ceiling fans, and even a custom-installed doggie door for the couple’s pets.
