From one neighborhood pergola to all of San Diego County.
Southwest Builders was founded in 2024, backed by more than 15 years of hands-on experience designing and building outdoor living spaces throughout San Diego County. The company started the way most good things do — with a handshake. Owner Tom built his first aluminum pergola for a neighbor in Pine Valley, and that pergola is still standing today, looking the same as the day it went up. Word travelled. Then it travelled some more.
Today we engineer and install custom aluminum pergolas, louvered systems, patio covers, sunrooms and even Boxabl modular homes from Alpine to Oceanside. We’re a Four Seasons Elite Pro dealer — one of a handful in California — which means factory-direct pricing and certified installation on every job.
What hasn’t changed: we’re still family-owned, still answer our own phone, and still believe a structure should outlast the warranty that came with it.
