Project Snapshot
About This Project
This San Diego family wanted their poolside patio to work as a true outdoor room: a dining area on one side, a lounge with a fire table on the other, and shade over all of it. We designed and installed a solid-roof Elitewood insulated patio cover spanning the full width of the home, attached at the second story and carried on three powder-coated aluminum posts so the sightline from the house to the pool stays open.
The insulated roof panels keep the space beneath usable through summer afternoons, and because the structure is aluminum head to toe, the salt air and pool chemistry that would eat a wood cover simply do not touch it. The wood-grain taupe finish was chosen to sit quietly against the home’s stucco rather than fight it.
What a Project Like This Costs
Insulated Elitewood patio covers in San Diego County typically run $15,000 to $35,000 installed depending on span, posts, and integrated electrical. Real ranges for every tier are on our published pricing page.
